ROSTERS

POSITIONS

  The following positions are MANDATORY:

1 QUARTERBACK (QB)

1 RUNNING BACK (RB)

1 WIDE RECEIVER (WR)

1 PLACE KICKER (PK)

1 DEFENSIVE LINEMAN (DL)

1 LINEBACKER (LB)

1 DEFENSIVE BACK (DB)

1 TEAM DEFENSE (TD)

In addition, each roster requires two FLEX spots in the following positions:

RUNNING BACK

WIDE RECEIVER

TIGHT END

Owners can choose any combination to fill their flex spots.

Every NFL player is categorized into one of the above positions and will be scored according to charts for that position ONLY.  No player can qualify for more than one position.  All position judgments are made by the Commish, and cannot change during the course of the year.

REQUIREMENTS

All rosters must reflect the necessary positions as seen above throughout the year.  There are a few specific requirements that must be met as well:

SINGLE NFL TEAM:  You can only have a total of three players (including Team Defense) from any single NFL team

QUARTERBACKS & KICKERS

Your QB and PK positions are considered team positions.  This means you own the rights to any and all replacement or backup players.  In the case that your QB or PK does not play an entire game, you will score from the backups’ stats.  Like when a QB is injured or pulled due to a poor performance.  If more than one player scores at these positions in a single game, you will receive the points for the player who scores the most points, regardless of how long he plays, as long as the player does not qualify for a different position, and said QB has a minimum of 10 attempts.  It is not a combination of the two (or more).  This is also the case for kickers.

ROOKIES

Rookies will score higher for nearly every obtainable stat.  A player is considered a rookie if he is playing in his first year either as a drafted player or a free-agent signee.  A player is not considered a rookie if he has ever made an NFL roster (including practice squad) or has previous football experience in any of the other professional football leagues (Canadian, XFL, UFL, Arena League etc.).

PENALTIES

All roster requirements must be maintained throughout the season.  If the requirements are not met you must make the proper adjustments.  Rosters MAY reflect requirement discrepancies, but you cannot use another WAIVER WIRE move without addressing the discrepancy.  If any of the roster requirements are not kept during the year, you will forfeit any scoring from the trouble position(s) during that time period.

INJURY RESERVE replacements, QB/PK backups, and players switching teams (via trade) WILL count against your TOTAL PER NFL team requirement. However, if requirements are not met by no means of your own, you will continue to receive points from all questionable positions.

INJURY RESERVE replacement players WILL NOT count against your TOTAL PER NFL team limit only when the two players are from the same team.

If you already have THREE players from the same team, a FOURTH player from the same team cannot be added via WAIVER WIRE, even if one or more players are being substituted with INJURY RESERVE moves.
